The Patient Trends feature helps clinicians visualize data collected through questionnaires sent to patients. This tool can analyze various numerical data, including patient-reported outcome measures, patient-reported experience measures, physical or functional measures, etc. Treatment plans can be adjusted based on data-driven decisions, which can improve patient outcomes and enhance patient engagement.
To access Patients Trends follow the steps below:
- Find the patient in your worklist and click on the menu on the right
- Click on Patient details
- Click on the Trends tab
View data as a Line Chart
- To view questionnaire data as a line chart, choose Line from the chart type dropdown menu
- Select the start and end dates you wish to chart the data for, along with the specific data points
- Once the fields are selected, click Generate Charts to create the chart
The resulting line chart will display the questionnaire score on the y-axis and the submission date on the x-axis.

Note: The points on the graph display data tips that can be viewed by hovering over the dots.
View data as a Radar Chart
- To view questionnaire data as a radar chart, choose Radar from the chart type dropdown menu
- Select the start and end dates you wish to chart the data for, along with the specific data points
- Once the fields are selected, click Generate Charts to create the chart
The resulting radar chart will display the score for each selected questionnaire on a separate axis.

Note: Data tips can be viewed for radar charts by hovering over the points on the chart.
Export charts to PDF or copy as a table
- Once the desired chart has been generated, click on the Export button located at the top right corner of the Patient Trends tab
- Select Export as PDF or Copy as a table from the drop-down menu

Note: If a chart is not being generated for your selected parameters, it could mean that the data is not present for your selection.
