Update Patient Information

min read Updated

This article aims to provide assistance to administrators on the Thrive Health platform.

As a Medical Office Assistant, there are two ways to edit a patient's information. You can edit their personal information such as name, phone number, date of birth etc. from your worklist or send them a request to allow them to update their tasks and questionnaires.

Personal Information

  1. Log in to your account on app.thrive.health.
  2. From the worklist, click on the patient's name whose information needs to be edited.
  3. Click on the Edit icon right next to the patient's name.
  4. Edit the patient's name, email address, preferred phone number or date of birth and click Save.

Note: The email address field will be greyed out and cannot be edited after the patient accepts their invite and creates their account.

Tasks and Questionnaires

To edit or update a patient’s health history or other tasks such as consent forms, you must send them an update request as only a patient can update information on their assigned tasks.

  1. Log in to your account on app.thrive.health.
  2. From the worklist, click on the patient's name to whom you would like to send the update request.
  3. Click on the questionnaire/task you would like to request the update for, then click Request Update.

Note: Sending an update request will resend the questionnaire/task to your patient. All their previous answers will be pre-filled. If anything has changed, they will be able to edit their information and resubmit their questionnaire easily.
