Enabling Mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication

min read Updated

This article is intended for all administrators on the Thrive Health platform.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an additional layer of security to logins, by enabling a two-step authentication process via users’ mobile devices. MFA can either be enabled on personal accounts only or be made mandatory for the whole organization.

Mandatory enforcement means that each Thrive Health user must use MFA to access the platform, creating uniformity and increased security across the entire organization.

Follow the steps below to enable MFA for your organization:

  1. Log into the app.thrive.health organization administrator account
  2. Click on System Configuration
  3. Under Security, you can enforce Multi-Factor Authentication by selecting Yes
  4. Click Save
  5. All users of the platform within the organization are now required to follow the MFA process
Note: For instructions on how to enable MFA for an end-user account, please refer to Multi-Factor Authentication for End Users.
