Generate & Export Patient Trends

The Patient Trends feature helps clinicians visualize data collected through questionnaires sent to patients. This tool can analyze various numerical data, including patient-reported outcome measures, patient-reported experience measures, physical or functional measures, etc. Treatment plans can be adjusted based on data-driven decisions, which can improve patient outcomes and enhance patient engagement.

To access Patients Trends follow the steps below:

  1. Find the patient in your worklist and click on the menu on the right
  2. Click on Patient details
  3. Click on the Trends tab

View data as a Line Chart

  1. To view questionnaire data as a line chart, choose Line from the chart type dropdown menu
  2. Select the start and end dates you wish to chart the data for, along with the specific data points
  3. Once the fields are selected, click Generate Charts to create the chart

The resulting line chart will display the questionnaire score on the y-axis and the submission date on the x-axis.

Note: The points on the graph display data tips that can be viewed by hovering over the dots. 

View data as a Radar Chart

  1. To view questionnaire data as a radar chart, choose Radar from the chart type dropdown menu
  2. Select the start and end dates you wish to chart the data for, along with the specific data points
  3. Once the fields are selected, click Generate Charts to create the chart

The resulting radar chart will display the score for each selected questionnaire on a separate axis.

Note: Data tips can be viewed for radar charts by hovering over the points on the chart. 

Export charts to PDF

  1. Once the desired chart has been generated, click on the Export button located at the top right corner of the Patient Trends tab
  2. Select Export as PDF from the drop-down menu
Note: If a chart is not being generated for your selected parameters, it could mean that the data is not present for your selection.
